Investor Visa in Brazil

An investor's visa, a modality applicable to foreigners who intend to settle in Brazil for the purpose of investing their own resources, a foreign entrepreneur who intends to live in Brazil to start an economic activity may have granted the permanent visa with proof of foreign capital investment. The investment of own resources of external capital should be done in a Brazilian company, new or existing, and can be used for productive activities and acquisition of goods for the company.

In the same process, the foreigner can regularize the permanence of all his legal dependents, as children and wife, without that, it is necessary another investment.

After the company is regularized, the foreigner must inform the Central Bank of Brazil of the transfer of the amounts invested so that they will be valid in the permanent visa process. The registration of this information is done directly at the Central Bank of Brazil by the exchange operators.
